About Us
Cory E. Cookingham, Sr., M.D., Gail A. Cookingham,
M.D, and Joel A. Beene, M.D. believe providing their patients with the highest quality
asthma and allergy care through disease prevention will help ease the
year-round and seasonal sneezing, headaches, ear infections, asthma, and
other symptoms many people in southeast Michigan suffer.
Cory E. Cookingham, Sr., M.D.
Dr. Cory E. Cookingham, Sr., M.D. is a graduate of
the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He completed pediatric and
allergy and immunology training at the University of Michigan Medical
Center and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the
American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a past President of the
Michigan Allergy Society. His special interests are childhood asthma,
food allergy, and urticaria. His practice locations are Flint, Bad
Axe, Cass City, Saginaw, and Frankenmuth.
Gail A. Cookingham, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Gail A. Cookingham, M.D., M.S.B.A., received a
B.S. in Nutrition from Michigan State University and an M.D. from St.
Louis University School of Medicine.
She completed an internal medicine residency at William Beaumont
Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan and an allergy and immunology fellowship
at Detroit Medical Center. She received an M.B.A. from Madonna
University, Livonia, Michigan. She is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, a conjoint board of the American Board
of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She is a delegate to Michigan State
Medical Society representing Michigan Allergy and Asthma Society. She is
President Elect of Michigan Allergy and Asthma Society. Her allergy and asthma practice locations
are Port Huron, Flint, Bad
Axe, Cass City, and Marlette. Her special interests include gluten sensitivity, food allergy,
eczema, urticaria and asthma. She cares for both adult and pediatric
patients.
Joel A. Beene, M.D.
Dr. Joel A. Beene, M.D. is a graduate of the
University of California at Berkeley and St. Louis University School of
Medicine. He performed an internal medicine residency at St. Louis
University Medical Center and an allergy and immunology fellowship at
Henry Ford Hospital. His practice locations are Flint, Fenton, Owosso
and Frankenmuth.
